I had one, Did not like it at all, it operates on windows tablet, and i found it slow, freezing up, and errors, They did send a replacment unit, and all the same freeze ups occured. The software is great, a really nice program and features, but not reliable or fast enough for aviation use. Garmin, I pad have the market for now and are solid reliable units in the cockpit. Just my thoughts.

We have the FL150.  We have not had any freezing or crashing problems.  In my opinion, choosing one of these units depends on what you want to use it for as well what other equipment you have.  With the iPad, 430W, and Aspen EFD1000 I only use it for weather mostly and for a backup GPS.  I have been experimenting with it for for approaches during IFR as reference for altitudes, etc and it seems to work pretty well there as well, but again, my iPad with Wing X and geo referenced approach plates are still clearer and easier to work with.  The big plus are the subscriptions costs and for a backup GPS I don't want to spend anymore than I have to.  They are a lot cheaper than Garmin and that is why we decided on it.  Garmin is definitely an easier interface to use so I think if I were using it for more than just weather I probably would consider a Garmin.  I think the FL650 and FL210 are more user friendly than the FL150.  Give the True Flight people a call.  You will have to leave a message, but they will get back to you.  They will demo a unit with you and are not pushy at all.

I have  a 210 mounted on the Mooney center post and have had no issues in 4 years. It has a solid sate hard disk and bright large screen. The user interface is a bit convoluted but no more so than when I go back to a Garmin 295. I bought it used off the Mooney list .

I had an FL190 in my Warrior which I used as a primary MFD to back up the GNS430. It worked great, and I loved the interface. It made it very easy to get all the info you need. My Mooney came with a 480/MX-20 set-up so I let the FL190 go with the Warrior when I sold it. I can recommend the Flight Cheetahs but it does depend on your particular set-up. I had mine yoke-mounted in the Warrior but I think in a Mooney that would be a bit crowded.
