Airport preference Atlanta, GA.

Just wondering. For those on the forum that fly themselves to Atlanta, GA. What is your preferred destination airport if you have business in downtown Atlanta? Do you use KATL or do you prefer one of the outlying aerodromes?

I've always used either KPDK or KFTY.  Both are relatively GA friendly.

PDK is a couple blocks from a Metro station.  Epps will give you a ride there.

Go to Epps at PDK or Hill at FTY. The staff at both are great.

PDK is busier.

We typically go into FTY unless our destination is extremely close to PDK. PDK has a lot of training traffic, and if you are sensitive to fuel prices, FTY wins hands-down. Uber/Lyft is available from either.
