Chris Strube Posted October 10, 2019 Author Report Posted October 10, 2019 I looked up the Cessna TR182, and it's a no go. My wife won't fly behind a carburettor. As one can't run it LOP, it's very inefficient. I think we may need to limber up, and stay with a perfect Mooney. No other plane can use a 1200 ft grass strip, and cruise in the flight levels at 170kts or better. 2 Quote

If I can find one with turbo, it would be a contender. I don't want less performance, so I'm thinking more of a T210 or P210. I've had a good report on Dan Howard. https://taturbo.com The Cardinal TN is a pretty good performer. Website not so great.... Def easier to get in and out than 182. -dan Quote
carusoam Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Consider the a Silver Sneakers classes at the local gym... You May find some interesting people with similar challenges you are seeing... the response to exercise and increased blood flow can be amazing... especially if you have a J-bar Mooney... PP thoughts only, not a gym rat... Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
takair Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 A friend recently had a P210 listed in NE US. I can check availability and put you in touch if of interest. Quote
Chris Strube Posted October 11, 2019 Author Report Posted October 11, 2019 No, we've made our decision. Mooney all the way! 4 Quote
