I just recently installed a GTX 345R in my G1000 equipped Ovation. I'm not sure I'm getting traffic voice alerts.

What parameters Distance trajectory , altitude ?) set off a traffic aural warning? And are they different from visual traffic alerts

(I've had a visual traffic alert but not a clear voice alert yet) Trying to  discern if I have a settings issue or an expectations issue. What have others experienced?

Thanks for your input

In my case every visual alert has a matching audio alert. GTX345 + GTN650.

Must be a GTX-345 thing, with my GDL-88 (with integrated TAS-600) I get many visual alerts and just a few audio alerts.

I have a GTX345 hooked up to a gns430w.  I get audio and visual alerts, but the aircraft are surprisingly close when it alerts.  Like inside a mile, coaltitude, closing.  They have been very accurate, however if it alerts and I wasn’t already looking at the traffic, I move the airplane.  I had a guy in a Kodiak climb aggressively out of Sandpoint Idaho as I cruised by at about 5,000’AGL.  I got “Traffic, 1 oclock low” just before I got a face full of big turboprop coming up from below the copilot side, maybe 15 L aspect.  Spooked my wife and me both.

I would love to see the alert parameters but have not been able to find them.
