MooneyMitch Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 Below is the link to a terrific article this morning in GA News, written by general aviation promoter Jamie Beckett regarding how we have to carry the torch for general aviation. Also, while you're at AirVenture, please come to the EAA Museum and see our presentation titled PGA Squared ]PGA2] which features tips on how to promote general aviation and protect general aviation airports. http://www.generalaviationnews.com/2011/07/11/standing-tall-in-face-of-opposition-lets-be-totally-honest-for-a-moment-airplanes-crash-now-and-then-they-ditch-make-emergency-landings-have-system-failures-and-once-in-a-while-one-of-them-cat/?utm_source=The+Pulse+Subscribers&utm_campaign=4f185e29b1-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email We are very excited to travel to Oshkosh and once again, experience a week long of Disneyland for aviators! Parker_Woodruff Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 The same should be said of just about almost everything in general. There's an element of risk in just about everything. We don't need a bunch of hype, laws, rules, regulations, political engineering for world peace etc. over every little unfortunate event. Give me freedom, I'll bear the risk I choose to assume. Quote
