My brain is only good for one calculation per day. All said, I don’t know why manometers aren’t used more often. As mentioned, physics doesn’t lie. You never have to worry if your water or tape measure are calibrated. I made one the height of the hangar wall to verify the fuel pressure gage they’d overhauled was done incorrectly. The wall is only ~ 20 feet high. I’ll let the smart guys figure out if i’m injected or carbureted. Fly safe. 8.6 PSI, you have a carb. But you have an M20C so we knew that already. Quote
Mooneymite Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 Can you T something like this in and just verify that you do/don't have vacuum? It's pretty cheap. VACUUM GAUGE (Click image for a larger view) Part # 01-14885 Quantity: $17.50/ea https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cmpages/vbvacuumgauge.php?clickkey=10146 Quote
Yetti Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 What doesn't everyone have one of these in their hanger? Already has a gauge and has other uses too. 1 Quote

Yetti Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 I used it for sucking fluid through the system to prime it. You still have to use an oil can to push the air bubbles up and out starting at the calipers 1 Quote
