Noticed this update on the Mooney home page (first one in weeks I might add). Thought everyone going to Sun & Fun should know about it.

On a side note, I spied the custom painted Acclaim that will be at S&F. Well, I only saw the tail, and it was from far away, so all I know is that it has something like a checkerboard, finish line, type of grapics on the tail though I am not even sure about that.........

On another side note, talked to a long time employee of Mooney, still employed, and that person said that only 36 people remain employed while the factory is in hibernation mode. :(

I can now confirm the checkered board paint is on the tail AND on the cowling. The plane was flown to Arizona, or was that Colorado to the salesman that is headed to S&F. Going to make some promo stops on the way.
