Andy95W Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 You may as well try it at the ELT first, since that would be easiest for a trial. I was theorizing that if there was a weird harmonic happening from the antenna through the cabling, putting the notch filter at the base of the antenna would block out more. Please keep us posted!

Just so I got this straight... The connection is made at the ELT in the back of the plane then to the cable that runs to the antenna? It can't be that easy. I don't need to remove the headliner and install at the back of the antenna?
