MARZ Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I've had a couple PM's after posting the pictures below. A while ago I had refinished the vinyl seats on some jet skis with a specialty paint. Likewise I want to update the color scheme on my interior until I redo it in leather. My search for aviation products took me to an online store VynilPro LINK. I found the wing walk cleaner and refinish coating and thought that it would be a good thing to do. So for about an hour and a half investment of my time - about 30 dollars for the refinish, sem solve prep and masking tape at the local Lowes I got the results shown..... They say the first impression is important, so now my new passengers won't get that EWWWW thought getting into the plane.... Quote
flight2000 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Nice job!! That's a huge return on a small investment of time and money. Brian Quote
thinwing Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Ive had good luck simply using aircraft simple green to degrease...than a quick mask off w/tape and newspaper, krylon semi flat black spray paint...a light coat does wonders and has lasted over a year ...kpc Quote
Jeff_S Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 I also got the Sempro solvent and wing walk refresher and did the job this afternoon. It was warm enough and slightly windy, but luckily the fuselage itself was a good wind break. I like the results! Quote
