Thank you to all for your kind words.  If someone can remind me how to post pictures, ill send some from France, assuming of course my Haematologist allows me to go when I see him on the 2nd July!

Just write whatever, then click on the "Add Files" button below, beside the paperclip. Upload the pictures.

To put the photo inside your post instead of being a thumbnail below, attach the photo as above, then move the cursor to where the photo should go, scroll down and tap on the photo.

Hi all. A quick update from my last post…the Camping trip was awesome.   Then December happened and ive gon downhill rapidly since then, but I was able to spend Christmas and New Year at home.

Im writing from my hospital bed in UCLH , london.   I left home a week ago with a mild infection knowing I would not go back.   Im At peace with it all, it doesnt scare me.  I have had a hell of a life and done so many, many things.  Im concerned about how Andrew will cope without his protector beside him, but know that our friends and family will look after him for me.

ive got about a week to two weeks left.  They are keeping me comfortable and im in very little pain.

I have enjoyed immensely being part of this community and meeting some of you at the Mooney Summit.   Its an amazing community with such strong bonds around an amazing machine.

Andrew will post “The End” when it happens and live link to the service if you want to tune in..The only thing I ask is that you dont use the phrase “his passing” or similar.  It makes me sound like a bowel movement.

@Oldguy has all my contact details.   Andrews email is andrew@andrewdunning.com.

love and god bless.

Andrew

I was just wondering how you've been doing and was hoping for the best.    Thanks much for the update, and thanks so much for your posts here and sharing everything that you have.   And thanks for being inspiring now with your grace and humor.   You and Andrew deserve more time together, but I'm glad for what you've had.

Godspeed to you, and best wishes to Andrew in a difficult time.   I have more heartfelt feelings but no words.   :'(

Perpetual blue skies and tailwinds await you, Andrew.  Thanks for the update.  Your attitude and grace at this point are inspiring to me, to not only count my blessings but to perhaps try to live more intentionally so that I may have the same contentment whenever I may be faced with a battle like yours.  Life seems so short the older I get.  Godspeed

How you are handling yourself at this time, and for the last year and a half or so, is remarkable, and quite an inspiration for the rest of us.

I enjoyed meeting you at the Mooney Summits, and our online interactions here. We will all miss you, Andrew.

It's the first time I've read this thread and so sad to hear the situation.  But you're right, Andrew, you've had an amazing life and gratitude (and love!) is what makes all the pain worthwhile.

Thank you for being part of our airman and Mooney community.

Thank you for sharing your trials and triumphs.

Thank you for sharing your adventures restoring G-OBAL.  You're leaving behind a plane that will continue on to be loved just the way you have loved her.

Have faith. Be strong. God Bless, God Speed, and

 - Clear skies and tailwinds, AJ (another Andrew)
