None of these portable units will most likely ever get certified for meeting the mandate.

This unit is similar to the GDL-39A and the Stratus 2. No "out" capability, only ADS-B "in". I believe it will work WingX and FlyQ. Not sure about the other apps.

Mike have you used it with Synthetic Vision and if so for any length of time and with what software?

yes, with FLYQ. I haven't tried the SV with Wingx, but imagine it would work fine also. I haven't used it for a great length of time as I have SV on my aspen, just to check it out some.
