Avionics shop came back after I provided the STC and I also talked to Precise Flight and both said it was not required.

So, the standby is coming out.

do yourself a favor and just cut a new panel from scratch. it'll cost somewhere around 400 bucks, and you'll thank yourself for it.

The Gulfstream G5 has the AHRS, plenty of speed and speed indicators, AOA if you want it, fine altimiters. Not low $, but you get what you pay for.

I spoke to Precise Flight and the electric brakes are exactly the same foot print so aside for the obvious wiring needed it does not need any modifications to the airplane. That always an option.
