The Caravan was great fun! Big kudos to the folks who work so hard and are so patient with the newbies!

CNOE....

You need a piece of tape to adjust the top of the 1.

That will keep it from looking like an I.  :)

I'm laughing looking at the picture this morning.

i simply got the idea from Sriram's photo.

Enjoy the day!

Best regards,

Two updates from fellow Mooney Pilots:

Alex is at Oshkosh with a group from my home airport, KGAI - he told me he had heard that the airfield was a max capacity for aircraft and currently closed to arrivals.

Chuck, a fellow Mooney pilot, had to land at Fond Du Lac and is camping there.

Anyone else hear that OSH is closed to arrivals (besides during the airshow?)

This makes me want to arrive by the Caravan even more next year or the following year.

Parking status can be found here: https://www.eaa.org/en/airventure/eaa-fly-in-flying-to-oshkosh/ground-operations/aircraft-parking-status

I think it's not uncommon to reach capacity early in the week, but it usually starts to open up again within a day as early arrivals start to leave on Tuesday.

Hi Guitarmaster,

It the green and white striped tent on the North side of 9-27 by Friar Tucks.

I'm going to be opening up the cowling on my Mooney tomorrow morning at 9:30 to show the mod if you're in the area or have an interest. I'm parked in row 68 of Vintage aircraft parking.

Great to see everyone tonight at the MooneySpace get together.  Even though I wasn't initially planning to go, I'm glad I did.

Just wanted to say a genuine thank you for Yves' hard work in organizing the evening.

Take good notes Matt! If it will work on your 75F, it will work on mine!

No worries. You can substitute any of the ones the NJ Mooney group takes when we get together around the watering hole. Like this get together:

Rained a bunch last night and just had another cell go through 8:41 am, but radar does not show anything behind this cell so hopefully it will stay that way. I'll be sitting by the runway with my GoPro to film your arrival. Good luck.

I hate to sound demanding,,,   but if you did "film it",,,   please tell me where to view it...

BTW,, in the old days it was 35mm film, then they came up with the new fangled 16mm,,

I understand that in the "future" they will be using 8mm film,,,   and it will be in COLOR!!

Thanks for all attendies. Thanks for all those who donated cash to pay for the pizza. After the second order we ran out of pizza around 6:45 PM, we are sorry for the late arrivals that did not have any left. We were able to provide beer to them. The remaining cash will be donated equally between the MooneySpace Website and the Mooney Caravan Safety Foundation. I will post numbers later.
