carqwik Posted June 7, 2016 Report Posted June 7, 2016 KGPH. There is a restaurant that's about 5-10 miles from the field called "The Wabash." Pretty good BBQ. They had a "crew van" that we borrowed to get there. As I recall, the fuel prices were pretty good too at GPH.. Quote
MB65E Posted June 7, 2016 Report Posted June 7, 2016 Ksik Sileston MO was always fun. They had a van that would pick you up from the airport. Lamberts Cafe. Please check as it's been a long time. -Matt Quote

moodychief Posted June 15, 2016 Report Posted June 15, 2016 Rochelle, IL (RPJ) has a great restaurant on field. We stop there every year on our way to Oshkosh. If you are lucky the skydivers will be active. Nothing like eating great food and watching skydivers. This is not your typical airport restaurant. My wife had Grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and loved them so much we had to stop on our way home from Oshkosh for a second taste. Quote
