The baggage door support arm (p/n 350154-901) decided to give up the ghost last week. If anyone has one for sale, please let me know. My a/p has been looking with no joy, so I thought I would see what is available here.

Thanks,

John

Paul,

They were my first call. Best he could do was to tell me to keep checking back if I didn't have any luck.

There's a thread here somewhere, with pictures, of an owner-produced replacement arm. "Search" is your friend. Good luck! Sometimes it can be frustrating . . .

I purchased one for my B from Don Maxwell.  He may one.  Good luck.  Troy

What's wrong with it? A little welding and paint will fix most problems....

Fixed mine that way a couple weeks ago - grind it, weld it, grind it smooth, prime and paint, reinstall. Couple hours and back up and running.  Hardest part was reinstalling it on my door.

Johnnybgoode and N201MKTurbo:

That's looking like the best option right now. No used ones to be found, and new one prices out at a little over 0.5 AMU! Since I'm not a welder, I'll have to find someone who can work on the small piece that broke off right at the top where it attaches to the baggage door. Grinding and painting I can do.

And you are absolutely right about the R&R being the hardest part. Five minutes to remove the cotter keys and an hour to remove everything so I could get to them.

Not sure if an E and J use the same ones. Mine is a slide with a pin on each end on opposite sides. Sound close?
