SPEEDMOONEY Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 Hi I'm looking for a 1990 M20J waterproof cover Regards Gilles Quote
Randy_B Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 My 84' M20J came with a Kennon cover that I have been happy with. Has a smooth lining to protect the acrylic.http://www.shop.kennoncovers.com/Mooney_c38.htm Quote
Hank Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 This guy knows Mooneys. The cover has 2" wide straps that buckle, and it fits tightly with no gaps or sags. The second Mooney has Bruce's. YMMV. www.planecovers.com 1 Quote
PaulB Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 I've got a cover from Bruce's. Previous owner bought it years ago. One of the straps broke so I emailed them and they sent me replacement parts AND some UV protection spray for free. No shipping costs either. Now that's customer service. Quote
bradp Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 I bought one from Bruce's as well. They honored an OSH discount in March or something. I sent them photos and measurements to figure out where the antennas would go. They sent me a great looking cover missing the antenna hole. They covered shipping back and put in a Velcro thing to slide round the antenna no additional charge. Excellent customer service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

carusoam Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 +3 for Jim Cancil and customer service. He sent me another elastic cord for my cover last year. A minor plastic piece failed. http://www.planecover.com/low_wing_covers.htm# I like the website's Mooney CoverGirl.... The photo was taken following a storm coming through. The kind of storm that turned over a few airplanes on the ramp. G, you did ask for water proof right? Quote
tomloft Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 I have covers for the fuse, wings, front of fuse. It came with my M20C, and I don't need it---it seems to be in excellent shape. I don't know how much it is worth---you tell me. Quote
carusoam Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Welcome aboard Tom. Do you know the mfg of your covers? That may give a lot of additional detail to a potential buyer... Update your avatar with location if you can. You'll notice Gilles is in Paris, France. Best regards, -a- Quote
M20F-1968 Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 I have several covers. I have not tried them on for size but I am sure I will have some covers and sun screens left over. john.breda@gmail.com John Breda Quote
