Formation flight around VA Beach

I posted this offer in the videos forum but thought I would ask here as well. I would like to get some form flying in if anyone is interested around VA Beach area. I was thinking maybe we can eventually build up to a division and take it down to First Flight something this spring/summer. Imagine the sight of the very first division of Mooney's breaking over Kitty Hawk! Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Interested and planning a visit to KFFA this summer, please keep me advised as to the timing for this.

Tell me more? Is this instructional, or does it presume the pilots are already experienced and comfortable with formation flight?

Unfortunately, no instruction will occur. I am hoping there are enough folks in the area who are comfortable with it. I haven't done any form flying in a prop plane since my T-34 days so it will take me a couple of flight to get back into it. Although, I'm sure we will have some seats open for others to hop in for the experience. I figure the best thing to do would be to plan for it on a long weekend.

Sounds like fun, I can swing it during the week, but prob not until May for me. Here is a pic of the Waco I rejoined over kittyhawk, and pitched out, however it was on my Maule not my Mooney...
