carqwik Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Was the crankshaft replacement done? Quote
rbp Posted February 2, 2015 Author Report Posted February 2, 2015 Not required based on the serial number. Are you interested in a second Bravo? 1 Quote
carqwik Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Lol, one is enough. I was just curious about the crank. Mine is also a 98 but the engine was included in the last round of serial numbers put out by Lycoming that had "suspect" cranks. I guess I assumed all 1998s were included... Quote

My 98 was made nine units before yours based on serial # and does not have the AD. Quote
Awful_Charlie Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 I'm 4 s/n# before rbp (mine's a late 97), but dodged the crankshft AD. IIRC, the AD specified s/n' of affected engines and cranks? In any case, if anyone is in the Bravo market, this is a great vintage of the model Quote
gsxrpilot Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 1998 Mooney M20M for sale. Price TBD. Is this just another way of saying, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it"? 1 Quote
ryoder Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Reminds me of Shooter on Happy Gilmore "I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast." And Happy asks "You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?" Awful_Charlie, I was reading your signature block: "IT geek, eats pizza and flies" And I was wondering, "Why do you eat flies? ... "Do You only eat them on your pizza?" Oh, wait that's "flies" not "flys" ... Or is it "flys" ... not ... "flies?" ... Oh, Never mind ... Quote
