aviatoreb Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 Well this is sort of an aviation joke. Or maybe its just a really cool toy - well its timely anyway. 1

Imagine if one of the reindeer blow out. He has to quickly identify which side the dead reindeer is on - and then cage it. And apply opposite rudder. Have no fear. Santa has a kajillion hours. A lot of it IFR. Landing on short and slick "runways." 1 1

Although on this side of The Pond, we call 'em "caribou." Other than geography, I can't tell a 'bou from a reindeer, ain't any of either around here . . . .

I’ve put on a few pounds this fall and have been pretty strict with portion control and what I’m eating, making progress but I’d gladly help with that reindeer disposal. I’ve been thinking about ORI (one reindeer inoperative) procedures. Santa needs a quick drop mechanism like used on military drop tanks. 2
steingar Posted January 13, 2021 Report Posted January 13, 2021 How many pilots does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Pilots don't screw in lightbulbs, though they'll screw just about anywhere else. 1
