JohnPleisse Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I am new and don't want to rock the boat. I have several Mooney specific items I am looking to sell. Tank sensors, new glareshield....stuff many might have interest in. Is this allowed and is there a proper place for it witin Mooneyspace? Or is this strictly chat and photo sharing? JP Quote
JohnPleisse Posted May 17, 2010 Author Report Posted May 17, 2010 You guys kill me. I'll be discrete and not too tacky. I have a custom made 201 style, non OEM glareshield. I also have a left tank sensor for a 201. In addition, I have a KX155 (loc only) 14v radio, yellow tagged with tray and an Edo-Aire Attitude indicator for a Century 3-C boxed and yellow tagged. Quote
rogerl Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 KCS 55A HSI System - from '78 M20J. HSI was sticking occasionally - so needs test/rebuild? Part #/Serial #'s of components: KG201 060-001500/8831 mods 1-5; HSI 066-3046-01/7512 no mods marked; 51a 071-1053/6272 no mods marked, glued shut. Connectors, can tray. Parts look good; from what I can tell I don't think the can has 'mod 1' installed: <!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> Mod 1 for the KG-102A gyro capsule (P/N 060-0016-00) incorporates mechanical locking devices on the spin motor assembly and bearing end play adjustments. Quite simply, this modification should be incorporated when the gyro requires maintenance since service parts for gyros not containing this mod are no longer available. The modification itself consists of installing a redesigned outer gimbals assembly and housing cap with a new bearing retainer and lock nut. The old style had glued in bearings. The parts kit for installing this Mod is not cost prohibitive. However, due to the labor required to install the kit, the parts and labor cost exceed the gyro value in most cases. I'm thinking the entire thing is worth at least $1500; let me know if you have a different opinion but are interested in it. Also have a complete M1a loran with all docs, parts and antenna, and a VSI that looks to be in good condition (needle is centered and was working fine when removed for aspen). Just sold a kt96 radio telephone on ebay for 99 cents, so thought I'd give this a try. Quote

PilotBob Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 I have just recieved a warrenty exchange Kelly Aerospace alternator Model # ALY-8520R. It is a newly rebuilt by Kelly in the box with paper work. Aircraft Spruce sells this item for $353. I'll sell it for $250 plus shipping. It fits an IO-360 Lycoming. The orginial came off an F model but I think it should also fit an E. The reason for selling is I was in Grants Pass at Chief and decided to purchase a Plane Power. I can be contacted at keller36@sbcglobal.net Quote

Scooter Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Is there any chance that we have have another forum for classifed or swaps? I would rather part with equipment to another Mooney owner than sell it on ebay or barnstormers. Just a thought. Not being a computer programer (I am lucky that I know where the on/off button is) I don't know how difficult that is. Quote
