flyboy0681 Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 I know it's Russia, where anything goes, but a fake license to fly a 737? http://news.yahoo.com/russia-crashed-pilot-may-had-fake-license-150451088.html Quote
N601RX Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 There was an A&P examiner in Texas a few years ago that was giving out fake A&P license. This went on for several years before the FSDO caught on. I believe there were several thousand A&P's that the FAA made retake the test. Many of them had already been out in the workforce for several years. Quote
Mooneymite Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I know it's Russia, where anything goes, but a fake license to fly a 737? Well the 737 is very simple to fly. This would have never worked for a Mooney. Too much confusion about when to use flaps for takeoff and LOP operations require a degree in rocket science. :-) 4 Quote

Oscar Avalle Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Can you log complex time in the 737? i doubt it... but even less on a 320 Quote
Hank Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Flaps and gear, check. Adjustable pitch propeller, negative. Therefore no loggable complex time. But you CAN log turbine time. Quote
