    Bonal Your plane looks great. I have used in the past, the engine hoist hooked to the engine mounts, and weight under the tail. The engine hoist concerns me, about the tail being able to go down when climbing on the step, Tail stand stops that. Ron

    George's electric as posted above. There is an AD Note for inspection. I think it is every 200 hours. I don't have the info handy. Have Lasar or Top Gun do the inspection while it is out of the plane. If needed replace the gears, I like the 40:1 that replaced the 20:1 that originally come with the plane. Ron

    The avionics bay on my F are camlocs, not screws and should be held into the panel. the access panels in the tail are the same as the wing panels, the 2 panels that cover the tail moving section are small sheet metal screws. Hope yours is the same. Ron

    I just had mine stripped and resealed. I had the original sealant in the tanks. 1 repair on the left, and several on the right. This is on a 69F. Ron

    I have the Lasar Oil cooler relocation kit, then they installed the 2nd landing light for me. Both lights are LED's on one switch, I just leave them on for more visibility to others. This has been a large project to improve an airworthy plane. Ron

    In July I posted a topic about painting my 69F. Thank You for the many responses. http://mooneyspace.com/topic/15800-vintage-mooney-paint/ I chose to go with a modern scheme, and keep the 3 window design. Lasar installed the 201 windshield and multiple speed mods. I had the fuel tanks resealed in Troutdale OR, The interior and paint were Completed in Chino CA.

    I have lots of time in HP aircraft before 97, including as a student pilot in 1972 and a multi engine check ride in 87. I have also had the endorsement added to my log book, just stops the debate. It's easy to get if you need it. Ron

    I have a GNS 430W as my number 1 radio. Number 2 is a KX155. Number 2 may have died. ( I need to verify still). How much value would it be if I had 2 GNS 430W be. I fly mainly VFR and rare light IFR. I have a 496 with XM connected to the 430 also. Ron

    What was the total cost of the conversions? Lasar prices are on the web site, your cost of labor will be your shop rate. the plane appears faster, I had several mods done at the same time, and seems quieter also. All told I spent over 10amu on mods. I am doing a total update, tanks resealed, leather interior and paint. Looks great, wish they were done. More pictures when available, teasers below. Ron

He completed the work on time, only extras for nut plates. Lasar just did my annual and mods, then to kttd and now to chino for paint. Ron
