I just about broke even on a similar flight. $1.00 cheaper than my home airport. 55.6 gallons

My annual is coming up in April. Currently the Slick mags have 442 hours since new. I flew 120 hours in the past 12 months. 500 hour inspection will fall about half way through the flying year. I am leaning toward replacing one mag with Surefly. Should I do it this annual or wait until next year?

Did you determine how to remove the vacuum gauge? I want to replace mine. It has been placcarded that it reads .75 inches low. The dial face rotates so I don’t know what it truly indicates

I logged on to the new website with no problems ( even though I’m sure I didn’t renew my membership when the notice came in the mail a few months ago). Read the two latest MAPA logs and saw a notice for a photo contest. I emailed a photo to Peggy and got a reply back in about 10 minutes ( on a Saturday). I’ll go ahead and send my membership fees for another year.

Three buttons are located below the digital face of tKe clock and identified as START/STOP. CLEAR 6 MODE. Normal or Elapsed time. MODE - Push to switch from normal time to elapsed time. STARTISTOP - Push to start or stop seconds when in elapsed time mode. CLEAR - Push to reset elapsed time to Zero. Set Hours, Minutas or 24 vs 12 hourtime Push and Hold CLEAR buttons for 4-5 seconds to enter clock mode; 12 H or 24 H will Flash. Push both START/STOP button to select either 12 or 24 hour mode. Push CLEAR to select hours (hours flashing/minutes steady) or minutes (hour steady/minutes flashing) for setting. Push START/STOP to increase either hours or minutes until desired time is set. In 12 H mode set PM (P) if necessary. Push MODE to return to normal time ISSUED 1 - 96 7-5

I know it does if in timer mode. I’ll have to try it in clock mode

This is the factory installed clock in our 97 J. Clock only displays hour and minutes. Timer mode displays seconds. Is this not IFR legal?
