    Replaced the electric fuel boost pump today. The original motor installed in 1996 suddenly began sounding sick; slow and irregular pulsing. Electric flap motor died 18 months ago. Is 20 +/- years the expected useful life of these small electric motors?

    I’m the same age and have been with USAIG through Falcon for all of my 25 years of Mooney ownership. Just renewed with 10% increase

    It wasn’t me. I started to install my LEDs but discovered my hands were too big and clumsy to work through the opening so I let an MSC do it

    I have an emergency survival kit that weighs about 30 lbs. I keep in the baggage compartment. It will be much more useful than lead weights if I have an emergency and does the same CG function

    Added three more WA airports to my “I have landed at list”. All along Pacific Coast. Westport (14S); Willapa Bay (2S9) and Ilwaco (7W1). There was a large herd of elk near the runway at 2S9.
