    I’m not a mathematician nor statistician but if the fatality rate is 1:100,000; and I fly 3,000 hours in my flying career, isn’t my chance of being one of the fatalities 3,000/100,000=3%? Of course all of us are above average pilots , so the rate is even less, no?

    Your post inspired me to review my log books. Since I got my PPL in 1989 I have landed at 59 different Washington airports. Looking at the charts it appears there are only about 12 that I haven’t yet landed at (public use, paved, >2500) most on the far (eastern) side of the state. Also landed at 122 different airports in other states and British Columbia

    Our aircraft came with standard/panel powered plugs. I bought Lightspeeds headsets with the six pin round connectors. No more batteries. The batteries always seemed to die at high workload moments when I couldn’t change them

    Rainstorm approaching so got the weekly flight in early with 3 night landings at Port Angeles. Brenda took the video from our back deck as I was on final approach back to Sequim. LED lights show up brightly
