  1. 55 year old wiring is rather fragile, might have to start at the light and work backwards, checking any connectors until you get to the up contact switch.
  2. You can edit the title of the thread, add SOLD to it.
  3. We need 2 categories of members: inactive and “gone west”. We already have basic member, supporter….just need to add 2 more.
  4. If you cannot delete, they should at least have a way for the user to be designated as inactive.
  5. I thought it was allowed as long as it wasn’t used in a negative manner and had the registered trademark symbol, “[emoji2400]”.
  6. $1735 to be exact, does it affect your ability to read the screen when it’s on?
  7. Or just mount the GMU in the tail, where I think they usually are.
  8. Those are 28v bulbs.
  9. I guess ordering nice new seats from the factory is out of the question?
  10. Yes, you’ll need a new AW (Form 8100), and you’ll need to return the old one to FAA. Your FSDO can send it to you electronically, I would contact them if you don’t get one in the next couple of weeks.
  11. You may have to skip the G3X/GFC500 and go to G500TXi/GFC600 as they are approved for higher powered airplanes.
  12. Base on FAA registration, he still owns it, @MooneyBob?
  13. https://www.duncanaviation.aero/news/duncan-aviation-has-stc-to-install-bendixking-aerocruze-100-autopilot-in-mooney-m20s They show it on a long body with anti-ice, I would have thought a expensive long body would not be your target customers.
  14. Didn’t it require cowling changes and 100s of hours to do installation? The equipment costs are only half of the price.
  15. I assume it must leak oil/fuel like a sieve if it needs all that straw.
  16. I would start pulling circuit breakers until it stops, then you’ll have the source.
  17. Notify Avidyne, if someone tries to update the databases they’ll prevent it and let you know. Essentially the box is useless to whoever buys it. I believe Garmin does this.
  18. Interesting adaptation to your jack, is that a commercially available, I see a label on it.
  19. Nope, mine is dual units (mph, knots).
  20. I have a 78J version, don’t know if there’s a difference.
  21. G5 doesn’t replace the A/S indicator.
  22. In my experience, batteries fail unexpectedly after 5-6 years. My starter failed after ~500 starts. Vacuum pump failed ~700 hours.
  23. Shorting your fuel stops means making more of them. Refilling isn’t that enjoyable to me to want to do it more often.
  24. Alot? 12.8lbs.
  25. Do Bravos have the springs on the elevators like the J?
