He's Back, Weds,...screwing up ATC, costing us a fortune....

Lastly, let's also keep in mind that Bush 43 still holds the record for vacation for a sitting president - 1,020 days during 8 years in office, followed by Reagan. Obama is nowhere near that and the president who took the least? Carter. This is not an attempt at Bush bashing but fairness.

Good that we can always count on you to be "fair" Mike

Globetrotting all over the world for real vacations and fundraiser's, is quite different than going to a single location in the USA, set up to be the TX White House, at least from a cost to the taxpayers perspective. Sorry to send you back to MSNBC for more "fair" research. ;)

So if I read you correctly, while in Hawaii during Christmas week he conducted little to no government business, just took in the sun, sand and surf.

Don't kid yourself, public expenditures for extended trips to Crawford did not come cheap and AF1 was always at the ready, and Kennebunkport was no exception either. One site reports there were a total of 77 trips to Crawford aboard AF1. I'd also be willing to bet that in 2004 Bush used AF1 for one or two fund raisers as well.

What would a "fair" reply have consisted of, that most of the time he spent in Africa last month was on personal time?

Not sure why O's predecessors always get a pass here, be it Bush, Clinton, Bush or Reagan.

Why do we need tfr's anyway? Stupid exercise in my opinion. Regardless of who the president is.

What I find amazing is the ones around their houses. Biden has one in my backyard. 1 nm and 1500 AGL. Why bother?

All that does is to identify high profile targets to the nearest mile. And the FAA sends me an email every day and tells me where the VIPS are going to be and when. All in the name of safety. Totally stupid!

Because TFR airspace frequently changes, AOPA strongly encourages
pilots to obtain a briefing before every flight.
