Derrickearly Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 (edited) I'm looking for prop shop recommendations. Next year my 10 year propeller overhaul will be due. The prop has to be zero timed, not inspect and repair. One of the pleasures of operating in the great white north. Thank you in advance! Edited July 31 by Derrickearly grammar
Mark89114 Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 There used to be a guy on here who was pretty highly regarded.....unfortunately the name completely escapes me at the moment. Based in Arkansas which is nearby to me. Remember we have all the stupid tariffs which I think affect this. 1

Steve Dawson Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Are. you thinking of Stallings Aircraft Propeller, LLC PH: 870-630-8166 The owners name I believe is Cody. Great guy and very nice shop. Secondly I don't believe there's any tariffs on aircraft parts since they're under the USMCA contract. He looked at a problem I thought I had with the prop on my Bravo. (thanks Paul Maxwell) 1
Jackk Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 I know folks who live in both Canada and Mexico, they keep their planes N numbered but a multitude of reasons, this type of thing was one of them, plus taxes etc

Anyway, it's too late now. The $'s are already out the door. 1
Jackk Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 I’ve had things registered all over for years, I just tell insurance I’m a pilot and travel, have multiple properties, is that something they can handle or is there a different company they would recommend, they end up taking my business. Water under the bridge I know I’ve always viewed countries and states as companies wanting my business, I just pick the best deal for me as I would any other business decision. No different than where people register planes and flag vessels 2
Cody Stallings Posted August 2 Report Posted August 2 What make and Model is the propeller you are needing serviced? We could help you with that, just want to take a look at the logistics and shipping.
ohdub Posted August 3 Report Posted August 3 I think most people around here (Toronto area) use Hope Aero for prop overhauls https://hopeaero.com/ Steve
