We have no bathroom facilities at our hangar or near it. Best case, drive outside airport property and go to the flight school so long as they're open. Worst case, use a container and dump.

Found this on Amazon and really considering buying it to stick in the corner. https://a.co/d/2uD48lw

Anyone use this or something like it before? Easy to keep clean and fresh? Is this just a disaster waiting to happen?

Are you friggin' kidding?  It's a plastic trash can with a toilet seat for a lid! Spend $10 for a trash can and another $10 for a toilet seat if you want the same thing and save $50!

I'm a CB, but the idea of emptying, and 'hosing' out that is an image I am trying to get out of my mind!  "Clean and fresh", OMG, that's 'priceless':D

These are a must for #2.

I just use the back of the hanger door for #1.  The Mrs M20F uses a bucket with a seat for #1 and I just dump/wash it out.

Don't forget the privacy tent for the bashful bladder!

I used one of these before we had more convenient facilities. Very similar to an RV toilet in concept and use and my wife wasn't unhappy with it. I hung a moving blanket across a back corner of the hangar for privacy. The top tank contains fresh water for flushing. The bottom tank holds the black water and seals to contain odor, as well as for transportation to a toilet or where ever you decide to dump it. Easy to use, easy to empty, and keeps everything neat and contained.

The closest bathroom from my hangar is a short drive, just inside the fence line; it is too far to walk and I've thought about getting an electric scooter.

I would not consider such an option, not from the use aspect, but from the maintenance aspect. If I were desperate enough to go that route, I'd just get some buckets and consider them disposable. In your situation, when the flight school is closed, I'd drive to the McDonald during the day and, at night, I'd enjoy the cover of darkness.

Have you thought about approaching the other hangar tenants about a portapot and service?

My field, the T-hangars are on the other side of the field from the FBO.  There are 3 or 4 portapots around the T-hangar area.

If you want emergency only, you can go as simple as a bucket with a lid and bags - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ASR+Outdoor+Camping+Toilet
