LANCECASPER Posted October 10, 2024 Report Posted October 10, 2024 Are all of our Mooney owners and Mooneys OK in Florida?
ArtVandelay Posted October 11, 2024 Report Posted October 11, 2024 Fort Pierce (my home airport) was hit by a tornado, it’s closed and they’re are not allowing anyone inside the fence, so I don’t know what damage if any has occurred. 5
Ryan ORL Posted October 11, 2024 Report Posted October 11, 2024 Orlando Executive (ORL) is all good! Very glad, since I wasn't able to evac my plane! 2

ArtVandelay Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 Fort Pierce took a hit from a tornado. A lot of sheet metal damage, especially the roofs and doors, and a few planes tied outside didn’t fare well. The planes in the damaged hangars from a distance look unscathed. 1
Rick Junkin Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 Venice Airport took some major hits again. Significant damage to some of the hangars and hangared airplanes, and quite a number of aircraft upside down or otherwise mangled around the field. @Zulee 's airplane managed to survive unscathed again and his hangar remained bone dry, despite being a south-facing hangar and taking the full force of the winds. That's two near direct hits in the last couple of years for KVNC, Ian and Milton. 1
