Ram Air plate

Does anyone have the dimensions (diameter and thickness) and hole spacing for the ram air delete plate? Lasar doesn't have stock but I can have a machine shop make one for me, just need a drawing or specific info.  I attached a picture of the plate.

It’s covered over with fiberglass.  Standard layup technique.  The airbox has a flat aluminum piece riveted over the hole left by the stack piece that’s removed

Any maintenance technician should be able to fabricate one of those. The dimensions are not critical - it just needs to cover the hole in the air box.

That's easy to fabricate in the field, especially if your A&P has a strap hole duplicator to drill the holes.    It's just a piece of aluminum sheet metal cut into a circle.

Yes, I have no problem with Fiberglass work (used to do it for a living) I was just curious if the aluminum round plate was meant to fit into the rivets holes of the ram air intake that will be removed.  I guess it is not

I will fabricate a slightly larger one to go over the old main intake hole and rivets holes.

It covers the hole in the intake box where the ram air comes in.  The holes will go in the rivet holes that hold the valve in, which gets removed.  You'll need to cut the ram air bell off the cowling and do a fiberglass patch there, but that's strictly a fiberglass repair.

Two aluminum circles will do the trick (one for cowl one for AirBox) to get it done and then when you’re ready for fiberglass and paint, it was only a $10 plate of aluminum.
