Mooney M22 mustang

Project mustang. Sat in a hangar for many years then moved outside a year ago.  Cessna 152 flipped over beside it and put an elevator thru pilots windshield. No damage to the airframe except small bump forward of windshield. Needs complete restoration. Everything is there. 1159 since factory reman but long ago.

Is the windshield available from anyone?  I’m sure windshields on pressurized planes are much different animals, structurally as well as approval.

Really cool plane.  There was one for sale a few months back and I started reading about them.  I never noticed before but your picture makes it look like a mix between an M20 and Beechcraft Bonanza.

Funny that you should say that. The fellow that designed the first bonanza was also the fellow who designed the mustang for Mooney!
