Mooneyintn Posted May 7, 2024 Report Posted May 7, 2024 Project mustang. Sat in a hangar for many years then moved outside a year ago. Cessna 152 flipped over beside it and put an elevator thru pilots windshield. No damage to the airframe except small bump forward of windshield. Needs complete restoration. Everything is there. 1159 since factory reman but long ago. 1 Quote
Igor_U Posted May 8, 2024 Report Posted May 8, 2024 I am sure others, like myself, would like to get more info on it, asking price and more pictures. Good luck. Schllc Posted May 9, 2024 Report Posted May 9, 2024 Is the windshield available from anyone? I’m sure windshields on pressurized planes are much different animals, structurally as well as approval. where is the plane? Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted May 9, 2024 Report Posted May 9, 2024 All the EAA guys know how to make windshields. Quote
Flyler Posted May 9, 2024 Report Posted May 9, 2024 Really cool plane. There was one for sale a few months back and I started reading about them. I never noticed before but your picture makes it look like a mix between an M20 and Beechcraft Bonanza. Quote
Mooneyintn Posted May 9, 2024 Author Report Posted May 9, 2024 Funny that you should say that. The fellow that designed the first bonanza was also the fellow who designed the mustang for Mooney! Quote
