King and Garmin put it in the right wing near the aileron. Not sure about others.

My Century III has the roll servo in the left wing, just outboard of the bellcrank for the aileron.

Look for extra rivets where there’s mounting bracket for the servo, close to L/R ailerons.

My STEC 55X was in the right wing, the same location as the King and Garmin servos go.

This may not be helpful since you have a K Model but, on an Ovation 3, the roll servo is below the instrument panel in the center console just below he engine controls.

On my J the KFC 200 roll servo is in the right wing where the actuator rod for the aileron comes out of the wing.  Inspection cover with pop rivets.
