I am selliing a EDM-930, tested with 6 cylinders I believe based on the test report. I don't know too much about this device but it comes with several sensors as well and a test acceptance report and a FAA authorized release certificate. The display unit itself is in its original sealed plastic so hasn't even been hooked up to anything outside of the factory. This belonged to a good friend of mine who unfortunately passed away a few years ago. Please ask if you have any questions and I'll answer the best I can. I'm a pilot as well, but just rent or fly with friends.

FYI, the factory sets the limits based on the specific airplane at order time, the buyer will likely need to send it back to the factory to have it reprogrammed.

Yes, it will definitely have to go back to JPI with copies of the limits pages from the POH to be reprogrammed and certified to a specific serial number airframe. (I bought a used 930 in 2020 and sent it back to go through this process). If I remember correctly they were charging +/-$1500 back then to do this.

It will also need sensors that are appropriate for whatever airframe (example TIT probe if a turbo engine, etc.). Aircraft Spruce will sell a brand new basic 930 from JPI for a 6 cylinder for 6982.50 (with 2% discount). Depending on options it goes up from there but with a brand new warranty certified to that airframe.

Yea, I guess they had it re-certified a couple of years ago for $600 after buying it so hopefully it wouldn’t cost much more than that. They bought it for $3500 so. She is hoping to get something close to that but I’ll run any offers past her.

Also as suggested, I’ll post a video of it tonight and show something with today’s date as the scammers are rampant in the online world.

Here's an image with most of the same parts in front of my computer displaying my ad on mooneyspace.com as verification.

My phone number is 403-493-9335. My friend and I worked together along with another fellow on a HUD System project for TopAces for their AlphaJets and A-4 Skyhawks. I'm a pilot as well mostly flown Cessnas and Diamonds along with about 20 hours in the T-33. If you phone and are interested, I can facetime time you with the components.

Thanks, this is now sold. Probably more avionics to come.

Well done showing it is real!  Avionics are huge scammer bait these days, especially on facebook and/or with new users.  Thanks for listing here and doing what Alan suggested.  He runs a sale group on FB and is used to the tricks...

What is coming up next?

Yea, I’ve fallen for a scam as well. It sucks. I didn’t know it was such a big issue with avionics. I’m not sure what is next. We’ll go through what she has in storage for their old company and see what they have.
