Senior PGA Championship is held in FRISCO Tx, last week of May.

Any recommendations for which airport would be recommended for FBO, hotel and ground transportation.

We stayed at the Sandman Plano Frisco Hotel, three weeks ago when we drove up from Austin to visit a former exchange student whom we have remained close to for 15 years, (Ghana). It was a pleasant stay. When I went for my morning walk, I passed an interesting little park dedicated to the Cattle drive trails that went through the area.  The bronze sculptured cattle are larger than life size. I did not land at the McKinney airport, though that was my plan had we not driven up from Austin

Definitely McKinney. Twenty minute drive to Frisco. On site rental cars. Great airport. https://airnav.com/airport/KTKI

Based on the direction you're coming from Dan, on the outer edge of the Class B, easy to get in/out without dealing with KDAL or DFW traffic.

A lot of hotel choices:

McKinney is a great airport, easy in and out. My hometown and I still go back there regularly. Cheaper fuel is 20 miles north or so at KSWI if you want to tanker any out.

Denton is further and 380 is a very busy road these days, but would be a reasonable second choice.

Fun fact, in the 90s there was a nice new airport in Frisco, but they never opened it and then tore it up. I bet they wish they had their own airport now!
