I’d be interested in case crack data as my anecdotal observation is that the angle valves have more case crack issues. The engine in the Cafe E model is probably worth core value at this point. Regardless of TSMOH it’s likely past calendar TBO, has had minimal usage over the last seven years and was at one time operated at aggressive ignition settings. Great points. Kyle spent this last year working for Ly-Con, it’d be interesting to hear if any changes or repairs have been done to it. Certainly hasn’t seen many hours in the last 7 years. Quote
