G5 HSI

Does anyone have a G5 installed as their HSI while keeping the King AI above it?   I’m considering going that route to get GPSS with my KAP150 and IFD540 and would like to see what it looks like if anyone has a photo….

If you go to a Garmin dealer, they should have full size color cutouts of the G5 and you can take one to your airplane and hold it up to the panel.

good chance you will not be able to install the G5 recessed if you don't want to make any change.

I have a G5 HSI with a standard AI (54D66)  if you want a picture (not a KI256)

Before I did multiple upgrades, I had a G5 HSI below my king FD AH (KI256 I believe).  I did not do the recessed install and it fit fine.
