Minimizes chance of scratching. I know another guy who trashes his microfiber towels after a single use. Is that because the washing machine can't remove all the dirt? Quote
Pinecone Posted December 9, 2022 Report Posted December 9, 2022 Also, if you dry them, it hardens the fibers, or so I have heard. Usable for general cleaning, but not windows Quote
M20TN_Driver Posted December 9, 2022 Report Posted December 9, 2022 I tried the foaming cleaner mentioned here and went back to Plexus. I find that is is crazy expensive but prefer the results. 1 Quote

Is that because the washing machine can't remove all the dirt? And probably also because areas with hard water will leave mineral deposits on the towel just from washing. I'll usually wash them once or twice, but after that they start to get crusty and not suitable for windscreens/windows. Quote
Yetti Posted December 10, 2022 Report Posted December 10, 2022 I have started using Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish on everything. good stuff Quote

Not cheap but the best I ever saw. The windshield Laid in about 200 bucks now so like cheap is relative, but $50 for a bag of super soft cloths is a deal Quote
