Bought this for a friend to install in his Cardinal.  Unfortunately he came down with some very severe medical issues, and I don’t see him flying again.  Unit was new in aug 2020.  Has ACU, both RSMs.  Very carefully uninstalled, and has everything you need to reinstall.  No wires were cut.  Units have syn vis, angle of attack, traffic unlocks etc.  posting here before I list it anywhere else.  Message me here or Bryan@avionicssource.com.
Look and function like new.

that's a great price for a MAX system.  It should still be under warranty until at least August 2022, shouldn't it?

Yes it does!

What's the going install price for something like this in a 1981 J model?

Asking for a friend, :)

Depends on whether you already have six holes for these to go into or if you are going to start with a new panel and flush mount or something in between. My guess, if you aren't going to cut a new panel, between 50 - 70 hours. There's a lot of wiring involved. Two RSM's (GPS antennas/remote sensors built in), interfacing with radios, autopilot. But considering that the retail on three max screens is more than double the asking price, it's a good deal.

Nice, just got my install quote back today, just for the group they said it would take 120 hours at $105 plus an additional $1K for misc. parts.

At least I know how much it would cost if I run across another deal. I was able to find that system going for $20,900 new, so it was a nice deal.

I don’t have a second system, I think my pals @Baker Avionics might have one.
