  1. excellent thanks that’s what I needed to know, I appreciate the pictures and your great idea, I already dropped one nut into the belly.
  2. Sounds like you have split backs? The bushing I am looking for is the lower mount to the backrest where the seatbelts attach to. I can't figure out the order of putting the parts in.
  3. I did come up with a bushing, my next issue is the order of items for the install. I can't tell from the picture
  4. Hi everyone, I’m wanting to get my rear seat re-installed, I wasn’t there when it was taken out, I got all new bolts/washers and nuts, but the part number 914024-6 wasn’t in the system at spruce and I can’t seem to find that part. It says bushing in the parts catalog but no other info. All help is greatly appreciated, also I would really like to find some pictures/videos of installing the bench seat since I hear it’s a pain. I did a search everywhere on here and the net and don’t really get any good info/tips to installation. 66’ M20E
  5. Well this last weekend was amazing. I got to take her up flying for about 3 hrs total. The mechanic flew it last Wednesday, I got out there on Friday and went right to the airport. Talked to the mechanic and took my dad flying for the first time he and I had been flying in that airplane in forever! It was amazing. Annual is complete and she is airworthy. Small issues that need to be dealt with and I plan on putting about 20 hours on her flying to Texas in November. Took up my daughter, wife and future daughter in law over the weekend. No lie I was quite nervous flying around the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. I asked my daughter who has only flown in Texas, so where do we land if we have an engine failure, she didn't like the options lol.
  6. I have been to @Parker_Woodruff website, filled out the contact form, and sent a direct email, no response. So hopefully he reaches out here. Not the best first impression for me so far.
  7. awesome tail number brother, we will have to get together for a picture when I get it out here. Perri
  8. I Live in Argyle and it will be either at Denton or North West Regional. Trying to find a hangar close by.
  9. Great story, The squawk sheet is 9 pages long and lots of what you mention is being done. I hope all is good with it after this and the real test will be the next annual for sure after we fly it quite a bit. It's coming to Texas and I wish that it was a Feb/Mar annual instead of the heat of the summer lol. I will post more when the updates happen. I need to prioritize the next steps as almost 30K was not quite what I had planned for this phase.
  10. A fine tooth come is being used by our mechanic. Lots of small issues found and fixed. Mechanic said he's looking forward to being the first to fly it here very soon. We will be watching it very closely. It was put to bed in the correct way which we hope has helped not allow any corrosion.
  11. First post here. So I grew up flying N2653W when my dad bought it in 1987, I flew it for years as I built time, around 600 hrs in it. I left for college, dad stopped flying it and it sat in a Hangar in NorCal until last week where we had the mechanic pull it out and get it flying again. It started right up, ran great and the annual should be fully completed in about a week and it will be flying again soon. Looking for recommendations on interior options. I can’t wait to teach my daughter in it as she’s working on her PPL with me.
