kortopates Posted September 25, 2021 Report Posted September 25, 2021 Hope you take into account there are 2 different versions of gear doors used in the Bravo. Early Bravo's had single puck brakes, later ones went to double puck with different gear doors over the wheels. Plus many early Bravo's had their brakes upgraded to double puck brakes with the current gear doors. Part #'s are important to get what you need.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Steve Dawson Posted September 25, 2021 Author Report Posted September 25, 2021 Paul I didn't know this. The brakes were updated to the two buck version. New ones are ordered from Mooney but are delayed with one of the reasons being Covid going through their plant. Just to confirm what you're saying is an older Bravo with updated two puck brakes will have the newer style gear doors? The doors have been sent to Mooney but I'm unsure of the part numbers now. Yes, since your Bravo did get updated to the two puck calipers, you need the current production gear doors - and not the original ones on your year Bravo. Make sure Mooney isn't going to send you the '90 Bravo gear doors since they won't fit if you didn't already specify. They usually end up shipping faster than promised in my experienceSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Steve Dawson Posted September 27, 2021 Author Report Posted September 27, 2021 We sent the gear doors to Lasar and they intern to Mooney but I'll check today to confirm. Thanks for the heads up. Quote
