However I’m sure Hartzell has taken into account any heat that may be conducted into the hub Your just flushing oil through the front crank bearing journal. The Hartzell prop hub is a dead end, once it fills up, that’s the oil that stays there until the prop is next removed. I spoke with Sean at East Coast Propellor yesterday, they have switched to NYCO 3058. He said that Aeroshell 6 still lubricates adequately if the prop will hold it which he said is a crap shoot.
