Saw a sad sight today

I landed in klvk this evening and taxiing in I saw an older Mooney on its nose but the props were not bent,the mains were down and locked but the nose gear was folded up.I asked the line guy at 5 rivers about it and he told me that the owner had an emergency landing on a road and after successfully landing without damage a car hit it. How ironic

Wonder who’s insurance pays that one. Ouch.

Imagine how the car drivers insurance conversation. Well I was driving along and all of the sudden there was this plane in MY lane so i pulled out to pass andddddd

Many years ago at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, a submarine was coming in for maintenance after a patrol (at the time, the company I worked for had a contract to install some equipment while it was at the shipyard).
