Welcome aboard Christian!

There are a few ways to get color data for a plane...

Looks like you have three colors/codes there...

What are you trying to do?

Do you have access to the plane’s original logs?

if you are looking for touch up paints... taking an access panel to an auto paint store can get a really good match...

PP thoughts only, not a mechanic...

Best regards,

Interesting...

Hmmmm.....

One awesome resource for all things Mooney....

The original records are still in Kerrville, TX...

You might try getting somebody @mooney.com to look these up for you...

If you make it interesting... they will want to help you out...

Got any pics of your project you can share?

:)

Holy cow that looks real!

Do we have any traditions to follow for a first flight in a Mooney?

Do you get any transition training with that?  :)

This is a great example of the expression of the Mooney Lifestyle!

Congrats on completing the build, good luck with the first flight...

Ibra,

I think you confused this bird with the M20D Master...  there are still three standing on rigid legs...   :)

Question for Christian...

What engine are you using to power this fine ship?

This Plane is a Mooney M20J with a retractable landing gear.  The plane is „heavy“ about 8 kg the engine is a Dualsky 4000.6 and have 5,5HP  This engine is prepared for 10kg scale and 8kg acrobatic plane

The calulated air Speed will be about 105 km/h you know about 56 kt

Christian,

The flight looked great from here...

Truely amazing!

How were the flight qualities?

How well does your heart work after all of that?

Thanks for sharing the link...  I copied it here with the cover pic....

Proof that Mooneys do really well on grass runways...

The T/O run looked like about 10m.

The scale model is sensitive to approach speed like the full scale models...  a few extra knots and the runway floats by...

:)

Deal Mooney enthusiasts,

the flight was very challenging, the heartbeat was extremen fast, the Model ist very sensitive to flying.

The landing was extremly fast thanks to the grass runway I was finished at the end.

All in all a successful maiden flight!!!

Have a nice time to fly your Mooney's :D

looks good Christian...maybe 30% expo on the ele/ail would help the sensitive flight controls...also in the video ail appears to be equal throws ap and down....have you thought of differential programing ??nice build thanks for sharing
