Now if those student A&P’s could fit one of those engines in the background into it, it would be a real performer.

But the exhaust would go right through the Johnson Bar, you would burn your hand putting the gear down!

A little ingenuity, a cantilever pylon, heatshield along the underside and gear extensions. G2G....

Need to mount an o-360 on it so that the future A&Ps can learn how tight it gets inside of a mooney cowl...

They can just follow Boeing's foot steps.  If engine is too big to fit, glue it, tape it, or whatever it takes.  If the airplane doesn't fly well after that, slap on a half baked software fix and call it good..

And quite beneficial for the Mooney/GA community...

Now, for the background oration going on? .... I think I hear a narrator....   :)

Well, in Whoville they say – that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day.

That is amazing. Can’t be many hangers with one of those in the corner.

Looks like an old J-47. We have three of those along with an airworthy F86 to make some sweet jet engine music!

I agree that it's probably a J-47, which has an axial flow compressor.    The Whittle engines and the derivatives had double-entry centrifugal compressors, and look a lot different.
