chriscalandro Posted October 11, 2020 Report Posted October 11, 2020 (edited) For this airplane. A guy by the name of Paul Gendron (rpmcommander)has been trying to sell this as “the perfect upgrade machine” for 45k. It doesn’t have a prop or interior. The log books are sketchy and the motor mysteriously doesn’t have a prop strike. I looked at it a few months back because I thought it might be a decent parts donor. (It wasn’t) he’s also got some other sketchy dealings going on, so watch out. Edited October 11, 2020 by chriscalandro
Jim Peace Posted October 11, 2020 Report Posted October 11, 2020 Also beware there is a mooney imposter at Sebastion FL....I saw this today and thought a mechanic was bored and fused a Cessna with a mooney...
chriscalandro Posted October 11, 2020 Author Report Posted October 11, 2020 I’ll be in Sebastian this week. I’ll take a picture of mine next to it.

flyer338 Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 Not long after I got my PPL, I looked at an Aero Commander Darter that was tied down at Gnoss Field (Novato, CA about 1990). It flew about like a 172 - I wound up buying a Mooney M20C. 1
