I mentioned before that IMO I was too far down the Aspen road to change course.  I ended up adding the third screen to give me a little more redundancy, but it also allows me to put ADSB and traffic on the third screen while keeping a second screen more clean.  Just a personal preference.  I know a lot of you guys have a GPS with a larger screen, so this wouldn't be much help for you.  Now to figure out how to organize this frankenstein panel.  :D

No matter which course you choose, it's amazing how far things have come in the last 10 years.

I would love to have a third screen to display the IFR charts. If I am flying an ILS and there is an GPS approach to the same airport, I set the MFD’s HSI to display it. Forces me to use the iPad for the chart.

I think the G3X can overlay or dedicate the chart display as well.

If you have the IFR charts, let us know how it works out on the 3rd screen.

I see them flipping through the different views.  Honestly, it's way too small to be useful to me.  Being able to stretch it quickly on the iPad is much easier.

Great pic RB!

Best regards,

Thanks Kris, but I'll swap panels with you if you're feeling generous.

Got to fly at night. Man, this is so slick.  No fighting with lighting. SV was actually nice for situational awareness. Helps avoiding all those mountains in middle Georgia. Lol

I’m starting to get 3rd panel envy. BTW - you ever notice your StormScope looks like a marijuana leaf?
