Does anyone know what the seal is for the screen on the fuel selector?  For that matter a picture of the fuel selector and it’s o-rings would be nice to have too.

I want to have parts in hand for my annual.

Thanks!

There are two gaskets on my 65 M20C.  One is a fancy-Dan washer with a rubber gasket on the ID ... happen to have one in hand so I’ll post a picture.  The 2nd gasket is for the sump bowl and it’s a Mooney part.  Lasar was back ordered until today and they want $45 bucks for it, ouch.  They should have them in stock now.

The fancy washer is called a Stat-O-Seal. There are a few companies that make them and change the name a bit. It looks like the invoice above had it as Lock-O-Seal. Search these names and you will find the fancy washer.

As far as the $45 gasket is concerned,

I have been fixing up a 1951 M38 Jeep lately. I’ve gotten pretty good at cutting out gaskets with a scissors.

just saying....

As mentioned there are several different types of fuel selector/fuel sump units installed on our Mooneys. When you call Lasar, ask for Dan. There is a new guy there who has messed up a couple of seal orders for me.

The part depicted in the picture below is called a Stat-O-Seal. May or may not be in your kit.
