When I schedule the annual with my shop, I bring the plane to them hot. The oil is drained and hot compression check done before it ever cools down.

A post-annual runup and leak check need not take very long.

This does my 1-piece belly in about 3-5 minutes:

This does the rest of the plane (but not the windows), although I generally use one towel tomscrub and two to buff and take 2-3 afternoons to do the whole plane (because it's a lot of metal):metal

Absolutely.  I use the Belly Soap (formerly Belly Wash) on the belly after using the degreaser to get the exhaust stains off.  It works extremely well, and like the other WashWaxAll products, it’s biodegradable.
