Gear Retracting Mechanism

Recommended Posts

My M20E landing gear retracting mechanism has a bracket (part # 560024-7) which has a 'wallowed out' (technical term) 1/4" hole. The 1/4" bolt through the hole is the pivot for a belcrank. The bracket attaches to the main spar with Huck lockbolts. Is there a bushing kit or procedure available for fixing the bracket?

I would expect that the "standard procedure" is to bore the hole out to the next standard 1/4"-ID bushing size (remaining material permitting) and then weld in a bushing.
